Remote help
I can connect to your computer over the internet, see your screen and fix the problem while you watch. You are always in control and can stop at any time. Remote help is FREE for older adults and PAID for other customers (quote on request).
How it works
- Contact me and we will set a time. I will call you.
- Download the remote tool below and open it.
- Read me the code or ID number shown on your screen.
- Click Allow when asked. I can now help.
- When we are done, close the program. The connection ends.
Download the remote tool
The button above points to RustDesk, a free open-source remote tool. TODO for owner: replace the link in remote-support.html with your own branded download or self-hosted server once set up. Windows users can alternatively use the built-in Quick Assist (press the Windows key, type “Quick Assist”).
Staying safe
- Only give a code to someone you called or who called you at a time you arranged.
- I will never ask for passwords or bank details.
- Never allow remote access to a stranger who calls you unexpectedly.
